- Carson Fulmer gets the start for the Chicago White Sox today. Fulmer had a good first outing but struggled his last time out. His control wasn’t all there against the Tampa Bay Rays, so hopefully he can get that back against a potent Oakland A’s lineup.
- Andrew Triggs gets the nod for the A’s. Triggs has a 2.87 ERA in three games started this season, so he’s off to a good start. This is his third year in the majors, but he started only 18 games from 2016-2017.
- The Sox are a horrid 5-62 with RISP over their last eight games. Avisail Garcia singled with Yoan Moncada on second base last night, but he was held at third. You can guess how that inning panned out. You’ll be right.
- The last time the White Sox were swept at the Oakland Coliseum was 2013. Alejandro De Aza in center, Jeff Keppinger at second base and Dayan Viciedo in left for that series...
- On this day in 2007, Mark Buehrle threw his no-hitter.
