I’ve sort of been off baseball for awhile. Did I miss anything?
In reality, I’ve been watching in the last week, but looking away frequently. Really frequently. Anyway, let’s get back to this whole winning-baseball thing! White Sox vs. Mariners at Guarantee Rate. Apparently, the Mariners pitchers are not great, so we’ve got that going for us. Maybe.
There’s been some good news today:
No doubt about it! @Lamantha21 gets a pitch he likes and crushes it way out of Blue Wahoos stadium for his first HR of the season, a solo shot to cut the Pensacola lead to 4-2 in the 4th. pic.twitter.com/nw3hnHd2tA

and this:
LHP Carlos Rodón, who has been on the disabled list since 3/26 to continue rehabilitation of his surgically repaired left shoulder, threw 3.0 IP today (34 pitches) in an extended spring game at the Reds.

And most of all, this:
The Chicago White Sox released the following update on the condition of White Sox pitcher Danny Farquhar, currently a patient at RUSH University Medical Center after suffering a brain hemorrhage and ruptured aneurysm during the team’s game in Chicago Friday night: pic.twitter.com/OwPxGXGJav

Finally, does anybody else think that Domino’s “Delivery Insurance” is the absolute dumbest service ever invented, and wonder who actually buys it?
