Let’s lead off with an entertaining writeup of yesterday’s game, from Royals Review. I mean, they somehow missed (as all other Royals and White Sox writers did), the conniving plan the White Sox have drafted to play the majority of their home schedule at Kauffman Stadium, but it’s still pretty good.

Remember way, way, way back in March, when Danny Duffy K’d like five of nine White Sox to kick off Opening Day and it was like, “lord, this is going to be the most trying season of my life,” and then came homers from José Abreu Matt Davidson Tim Anderson Matt Davidson Tim Anderson Matt Davidson to lead a comeback romp that delayed the notion that this could be the most trying season of your life for, like, a week? Me neither.

But anyway, Duffy is back on the bump, and unless Davidson went way too heavy on the BBQ as a postgame feast, tonight could get a little homer-happy again.
