South Side Sox Roster Ranking: Round 1

Many SB Nation sites do a crowdsourced top prospects list. We’re doing one now, in fact.

But we’re going to add to the fun.

Beginning with this poll, we’re going to rank the current Chicago White Sox roster, 1-25. The criteria for your vote? Well, that’s up to you. It could be the top WAR player of 2017. It could be the most “untradeable” player in your mind. It could be the best bang for the buck on the team.

There will be 10 players from the current roster pool of 27 to choose from (25 active, Carlos Rodon and Kevan Smith on the DL) in each round, at least until 17 players have been selected.

Once we finish up both the top prospects list and White Sox roster, we’re going to crowdsource the most essential White Sox of 2018.

Next year, we’ll be starting our prospect ranking polls around March 1, followed by the roster ranking around April 1.
