- Carlos Rodon gets the start for the White Sox today. Overall, he was pretty good in his first outing since having shoulder surgery last September. The control wasn’t all there for Rodon, but the velocity certainly was, which was a good sign. Let’s hope his fastball can sit 95 mph once again today.
- Mike Clevinger gets the start for The Tribe today. He looked really good against the Sox on May 29, surrendering just one run over 6 1⁄3 innings. He comes into the game with a 4-2 record and a 3.31 ERA.
- Also, the first legal thousand-dollar bet (of the $5,000 kind) in New Jersey was placed on the White Sox to win today. Either somebody knows something, or they just really believe in a lineup with Jose Rondon, Adam Engel and Trayce Thompson.
