Most Essential White Sox Vote: Round 19

The southpaw is fighting to get back into the mix on the farm

Battling Ian: Clarkin has fought through various injury woes already in his career.
@IanClarkin

Congratulations, Ian Clarkin, you have been voted the 18th Most Essential White Sox player!

Clarkin took 26% (35 of 134 ballots), extending the streak of prospects to be named Most Essential to five. Earlier this season, Clarkin was named the 14th most important White Sox prospect, garnering 47% of the 14th vote, which means the southpaw has leapfrogged Jake Burger, Luis Alexander Basabe and Spencer Adams in the Essential vote.

With Clarkin advancing, our managing editor’s preseason pick for under-the-radar prospect to watch, Seby Zavala, is added to the ballot.
