Congratulations, Matt Davidson, you have been voted the 19th Most Essential White Sox player!

Davidson took 25% (28 of 114 ballots), finally snapping the prospects’ Most Essential streak at five. Earlier this season, Davidson was named the ninth most important member of the White Sox roster, garnering 31% of the ninth vote, which means the slugger has leapfrogged Avisail García in the Essential vote.

With Davidson advancing, the most disappointing member of the 2018 White Sox, Welington Castillo, is added to the ballot.
