Mariners starter Marco Gonzales nearly had a “two-game perfecto,” retiring 26 consecutive batters without allowing a hit or a walk. The perfecto stretched from the 4th inning on July 11 in Anaheim through the 6th today, when Kevan Smith drew a walk.
