Leading off: Another weekly honor for Knights OF Eloy Jimenez (why hasn’t he been called up yet?)
After slashing an absurd .560/.577/.720 in 6 games and finishing tied for the most hits among Top 30 prospects, #WhiteSox top prospect Eloy Jimenez lands on our Team of the Week: https://t.co/rw0q4k2vlD pic.twitter.com/wjJYBS3gSS

Charlotte Knights 3, Gwinnett Stripers 1
Eloy Jimenez (.378): 4-for-4, 1 R
Matt Skole (.243): 2-for-2, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 BB ***MVP***
Patrick Leonard (.242): 2-for-4, 2B, 1 RBI
Colton Turner (5.09 ERA): 4 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 1 K
W: Brandon Brennan (1-1, 9.00 ERA), 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K
S: Ian Hamilton (9, 1.78 ERA), 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
Does a four-hit game check one of the mystery boxes White Sox GM Rick Hahn believes remains unchecked? Eloy Jimenez now has 12 hits over his last four games, is hitting .621 (18-for-29) over his last seven games and is making an absolute mockery of Triple-A pitching, yet can’t get the call-up. Another guy who can’t get a call-up despite clearly deserving it is RHP Ian Hamilton, who earned his ninth save of his Triple-A tenure and dropped his ERA down to 1.78 on the season. Hamilton should be getting save opportunities in what remains of a lost season now so the White Sox know if he can handle closer duties next season. Matt Skole reached base four times with two hits, two walks, one double and drove in two runs to earn MVP honors for this contest.
Tie Game! @dmendick01 crushes a two-run shot just a few inches over the yellow line on the left field wall for his 14th home run of the season to get the Barons even.

Mr. Quality Start does it again. @flo_rider95 departs his final home start of the season with a 3-2 lead.

Jackson Generals 4, Birmingham Barons 3 in 10 innings
Joel Booker (.270): 1-for-4, 1 SB (11)
Zack Collins (.236): 0-for-5, 5 K
Alex Call (.241): 1-for-4, 2B, 1 R

L: Jake Johansen (1-4, 4.40 ERA), 1 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 1 K
Danny Mendick’s two-run homer in the fifth inning tied the game and the Barons took a brief 3-2 lead one inning later, but couldn’t hold it before falling in extra innings on Monday. Mendick drove in all three Barons runs in this one as he also singled, walked and stole his 19th base. Starting pitcher Bernardo Flores picked up yet another quality start by allowing two runs on five hits in six innings. Flores left with the lead and was in position to get the win if the bullpen was able to hold on. Barons batters struck out 15 times with Zack Collins contributing five punch outs in a particularly poor night at the plate.
Fact: We have @BlakeRuth2, @YerdynM, @Zachyflat7 & @jjmuno13, and you don't.

L: Hunter Schryver (0-2, 0.00 ERA), 2 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 3 K
The tweets above tell the story of this one as the Dash trailed twice, coughed up a two-run lead, tied the game up only to then fall in extra innings. Luis Gonzalez, Nick Madrigal and Zach Remillard each had multi-hit games with Madrigal also scoring a run and stealing two bases. Blake Rutherford had a RBI triple and scored a run, while Yermin Mercedes came through with a RBI double. Two Dash errors didn’t help matters as Lincoln Henzman gave up two unearned runs before departing after three innings.
After 4 hours and 21 minutes, 20 combined runs and 26 combined hits, here is the final box score, presented by Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. pic.twitter.com/gpNqDrE2JI

Luis Curbelo (.240): 1-for-4, 2B

L: Luis Ledo (7-2, 4.72 ERA), 1 IP, 2 H, 3 R (2 ER), 1 BB, 2 K
Carlos Perez singled to drive in pinch-runner Johan Cruz (after Michael Hickman doubled) to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth inning, then Steele Walker hit a sacrifice fly to score Tyler Frost in the 10th inning to tie the game up at 8-8 before Asheville would eventually plate three runs in the top half of the 11th to walk away victorious. Perez’s clutch single in the ninth wasn’t his only big moment in this one as he also homered and doubled with three RBI and a pair of runs scored. Tate Blackman also showed off his power again, with home run No. 15, a two-run blast in the fifth inning. Starting pitcher Jhoan Quijada struggled, allowing five runs in five innings.

AZL Dodgers 4, AZL White Sox 2
Camilo Quinteiro (.286): 3-for-4, 1 BB
Luis Mieses (.226): 2-for-4, 1 R
Cabera Weaver (.248): 1-for-3, 1 R, 1 BB

L: Yordi Rosario (1-2, 3.42 ERA), 7 IP, 3 H, 1 R (0 ER), 2 BB, 9 K ***MVP***
In an odd affar from a statistical standpoint, AZL White Sox fell to the AZL Dodgers on Monday despite out-hitting them (7-5) and committing half the amount of errors as LA’s affiliate (4-2). Unfortunately, AZL Dodgers put up three runs in the eighth inning, and AZL White Sox could only cut a 4-0 deficit in half in the bottom of the ninth. Starting pitcher Yordi Rosario deserved a better fate, as he allowed just one unearned run in seven innings, giving up only three hits while striking out nine. 2B Camilo Quinteiro reached base four times, with three singles and a walk. LF Luis Mieses has a pair of hits and scored one run.
