Although Lucas Giolito gave him a run for his money yesterday, Carlos Rodón is the decided ace of the Chicago White Sox, and the good news is while the Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg/Ybor City Rays goof around with their “Opener” antics, Rodón takes the bump tonight to try to clinch the series for the White Sox with a game to spare.
.@Carlos_Rodon55 takes the bump tonight after surrendering just six earned runs in four starts (28.2 IP) last month. #WhiteSox

Daniel Roberston sprained his thumb in yesterday’s game and was placed on the 10-day DL, taking out one of the consistent cogs in the Dunedin Rays lineup, and a right-handed bat to boot. Blake Snell comes off of the DL to start tonight.
