Finally at .500 ... and apparently breaking the Yankees!
The #Yankees are looking old and tired, especially compared to these up-and-coming #WhiteSox, and it must stop. https://t.co/2i7qK09wCF

The White Sox look to officially become a winning ballclub, with Reynaldo Lopez on the bump tonight. Lopez has actually been very effective against the Yankees the two times he has faced them. In fact, against the Yankees, Lopez has the third best tOPS+ against any other team, only behind the Angels and Cubs. With the many injuries on the New York side, four of the six batters that have gotten hits off of Lopez are on the IL, so this is setting up to be a good outing. If so, it would be the first time Lopez had back-to-back good starts since May 13 and May 19.
On other White Sox news, Jordan Stephens — yep, SSS Top Prospect No. 22 Jordan Stephens — is no longer in the Sox organization:
Cleveland has claimed RHP Jordan Stephens off waivers from the White Sox, per the White Sox.
