OK, here’s our spot to discuss Day 2 of the 2019 MLB draft.
Right above is where I’ll list our pick immediately, as we start work on a full profile of the player. Today, we’ve got 2018 draft hero Darren Jackson back on coverage, as he and WSM will be alternating on profiles. Unlike last year, when we had one SSS story covering all eight Day 2 picks, today we are putting together a short story, like last night’s, on each pick, individually.
And remember, clicking 2019 MLB Draft on our page (click the link here, or for future reference, where it’s circled in the image below) gets you to all of our draft coverage, with the newest draft stories listed first.

Thanks again to WSM for the exhaustive scouting — upwards of 75 player profiles — in our Draft Prospects You Should Know series. And it was his yeoman work on last night’s two picks that allowed SSS to have stories up on both Andrew Vaughn and Matthew Thompson mere moments after their names were announced, and expanded from there.

And still, nobody has copyedited MLB.com’s draft logo; the apostrophe is backwards.
