- White Sox fans will get their second look at starting pitcher Dylan Cease tonight. The righthander got his first major league win on July 3 against the Detroit Tigers. His control was a bit rough at times, so hopefully he can limit the walks tonight.
- Glenn Sparkman gets the nod for the Kansas City Royals. Sparkman went six innings in his last outing against the Washington Nationals, giving up four runs on nine hits. Please, can we hit Glenn Sparkman??

Steve Stone’s take on Tim Anderson (I agree)...
Sometimes when you lose a player you lose his stats and not much else. When Tim Anderson went down the Sox lost they’re identity. He brings a swagger and aggressiveness to the team that is greatly missed. His bravado is his calling card. He’ll lead this team. It’s who he is
