- The White Sox got Eloy Jimenez back Sunday. Tonight, they will see Tim Anderson take the field after missing a little over a month of game action with an ankle injury. It’s so nice to see him back in the lineup, isn’t it?
- Reynaldo Lopez gets the start for the White Sox tonight. He has been downright impressive in his last three outings. The fastball has touched 98 mph, and the off-speed command has looked much better. Hopefully Lopey can keep it going tonight.
- Noah Syndergaard might be on hug-watch alert tonight. Trade rumors have swirled around the Mets’ flamethrower for the past few weeks, but he’ll get the start against the Sox. Syndergaard has not been his usual dominant self this year, but he has a 3.51 ERA since the start of June.
