As part of our transition back over from South Side Hit Pen to South Side Sox, we’re going to be counting down the top games of 2020, with reprints of our game stories.
A fairly informal poll of the staff yielded these 12 games as favorites, listed chronologically in the poll. There are some fairly obvious bests, and feel free to cast your vote for them, of course. But if there was an under-the-radar game from 2020 that captured your fancy, this entire ballot is going to count as a vote in our countdown and you may want to make sure that overlooked game gets some love.
And, of course, if we missed something completely, feel free to list it in the comments below; we can expand this 2020 review to 15 or even 20 games.

When our top games review winds up next month, we’ll probably jump right into the Top Prospect poll. And in December, the three Hall of Fame votes (White Sox, 2021 class, and Veterans) return to the site as well.
