It’s another White Sox big s#@t show,
Yet another fee-asss-co,
We want to be fans, but golly whiz,
We gotta hit Jerry where his wallet is.

La Russa had more baggage than a whole freight train
Even before this latest pain,
What with his bizarre proclivity
For in-your-face racial insensitivity.

Give his quotes the slightest glance
And you see he’s full of arrogance
A man who thinks he’s above civility
Because of lineup creating ability..

Now with Tony’s yet-another D-U-I,
Jerry’s given us a stick in the eye -
Let’s not let them drag us down
To the scum level where they’re to be found.

And we’ve now learned, to great Sox shame,
That La Russa tried to use the Hall of Fame
To get out of of his D-U-I bust -
This is the scum we’re supposed to trust?

Otis and Aretha didn’t have him in mind
When they did a spelling of a different kind
But R-e-s-p-e-c-t?
For the White Sox brass? Oh, no sir-ree.

Cheer for the players? Absolutely!
Screw the management? Resolutely!
They’ve shown that to them fans and players don’t matter
So let’s let Jerry’s bank account tatter.

When it comes to balls, he hasn’t any,
And as for that empty suit, Rick Hahn,
It’s time for his days here to be gone.

Jerry may have made the choice

So let’s take it out of both their hides.

For a delay, there’s really no reason -
Don’t buy any Sox gear at all,
Not a hat, not a shirt, not a team-signed ball.

Don’t give in to the endorsement racket
By buying a fancy White Sox jacket,
Don’t buy any Sox gear at all,
Not even a bobblehead A.J. doll.

They have given us plenty of reason
To buy no tickets for next season,
To leave the GuRF an empty shell,
While Jerry’s finances go to hell.

Don’t buy a box seat, or even a bleacher,
Become an ethics and integrity teacher,
Too bad Covid killed Sox fest,
‘Cause leaving it empty would have been a grand jest.

Stick it to Jerry? Resolutely!

But not buying Sox stuff is just a start
We need to tear their finances apart -
Let anyone who runs ads on Sox TV
Fear the wrath of the Sox fan sea.

Boycott radio ads as well,
And anyone using the Sox to sell,
Those with ads at the park should meet the same fate,
Starting, of course, with Guaranteed Rate.
