What a fun start to the Crosstown Series yesterday! The Chicago White Sox look to keep up the stellar pitching and hit all of the home run balls against the Chicago Cubs.

Fresh off of the injured list, Reynaldo López will start in his second game of the season. He left his first start of 2020 after only acquiring two outs, thus he is 0-1 with a very inflated 54.00 ERA. Rey looks to lead the charge and record more than two outs! Secret weapon Gio González likely awaits as the follow-up when López tires.

Kyle Hendricks will share his home mound with ReyLo. Hendricks (3-2, 3.31 ERA) has pitched very well for his team, but based on his record and ERA, he does not receive the most run support. Let’s hope the White Sox hitters can sit back on Hendricks’ slow-velocity pitches and launch a few homers! Remember, he got rocked by the South Siders in their exhibition game at Wrigley.

Today’s BOOM squad:

Yoán Moncada, fresh off of a rest day, is plugged back into the second spot of the lineup and playing his usual third base. Overall, this is a stacked lineup.

These Cubs look to heat up on offense:

Jason Kipnis, as a Chicago kid, will start in his first ever Crosstown Classic.

NBC Sports Chicago will air the 7:15 p.m. CT game, and WGN has the radio! Let’s take the series!
