Despite being just more than a month from Opening Day, the baseball season is heading into the home stretch of the season.
The small sample size of the first half of the season is about to be put to the test. Were the first few weeks of play a fluke, or the sign of each team’s fate for 2020? Of course, part of that equation is fan expectations heading into the year.
According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, the first half of the season went even better than most White Sox fans expected.

Along those same lines, the vast majority of White Sox fans are confident in the team. A full 94% of fans said they think Chicago is headed in the right direction. (That’s actually down from 97% on August 20.) But only four fan bases — Toronto, San Diego, Seattle (?) and Oakland — had a more satisfied fan base this week.
