The Chicago White Sox are 30-16, currently the best team in the American League. That status will be challenged all throughout this week, with a four-game series against the Minnesota Twins.
Dylan Cease (5-2, 3.33 ERA) is the series-opener starter for the Good Guys. He has yet to pitch against the Twins in 2020, but he did see them twice in 2019. I’ll spare the details of both those starts, but let’s hope the third time is the charm against these home-run-clubbing Twins.
José Berríos (4-3, 4.40 ERA) has seen these White Sox twice this season. The first time was fantastic for the Sox, but the second time benefitted Berríos, so if this incredibly short pattern holds, it is the Sox’s turn to win this ballgame.
These nine are tasked to accomplish this task:

Luis Robert is back in after a day off, so a fresh Robert looks to have some fun against the Twinkies.
These Twinkies look to make a meal out of Cease, sans Sanó and Rosario:

Still, there’s no way around it, this is a stacked lineup. Cease needs to seize their fire.
He’ll do that starting at 7:10 p.m. CT on NBC Sports Chicago and WGN radio. Time to start this series off on the right foot!
