Best thing about yesterday? It’s not today. Today, the Chicago White Sox look to even their weekend series against the Chicago Cubs.

Dane Dunning (2-0, 3.19 ERA) looks to continue his early success as a major league pitcher. Dunning did have his first rough start last time out, but his growing pains are natural, as he looks to get back on track against the Crosstown rivals.

Jon Lester (3-2, 4.40 ERA) is exactly what the White Sox offense needs to cook up in order to get them back on track. The White Sox have dominated lefties all year, including Lester; on August 21, the Sox put up eight runs against Lester in 3 23 innings. Given their recent slumps, this is exactly what the doctor has ordered for the White Sox to turn it all around.

These South Siders are ready to replicate their glorious night over Lester:

The better bat-flipper bats leadoff.

These North Siders hope to stunt Dunning’s growth in the Bigs:

Their epic bat-flipper bats third.

NBC Sports Chicago and WGN radio have the 6:10 p.m. CT game! Let’s take the lead in the overall season series. May the best bat-flipper win!
