It’s time to feast off the also-rans — or become an also-ran ourselves

Reynaldo López headed down to Schaumburg today, as the White Sox attempt to relocate the lost 2018 ReyLo. Off of the taxi squad and into the bullpen fire is Bernardo Flores Jr., who pronounced himself stretched out to “three or four innings” today — making him the first call off the bench if Dylan Cease gets in traffic early.

Yoán Moncada had a number of scary quotes today about how weak he’s felt since contracting coronavirus in July. He’s had no energy and now is battling this separate-but-probably-related leg soreness. What a mess of a season for him.
