The 23-15 Chicago White Sox will play the second game of this four-game weekend set against the 14-24 Kansas City Royals.
Dane Dunning (0-0, 2.89 ERA) will make his third career major league start. With Reynaldo López sent down to Schaumburg, Dunning should hold his spot in the rotation permanently. Last outing, he pitched a five-inning no-hitter against these same Royals, so he’s looking to build off of that brilliance and keep the Royals on their toes.
Brady Singer (1-3, 5.19 ERA) has also pitched five innings against the Good Guys recently. He gave up three runs off of five hits and two walks. Hopefully, the White Sox can give him a bit more trouble tonight.
These are the guys in charge of doing so:

Luis Robert bats fifth! More opportunities to hit more monstrous home runs!
These Royals will try to make up for their lost comeback last night:

Once again, the natural second baseman will play in right field for the Royals. Luckily for them, he does well anywhere, and he certainly does well against our Sox.
NBC Sports Chicago has the 7:05 p.m. CT broadcast, and WGN has the radio coverage.
Two rookie pitchers battle it out tonight; may the best rookie win!
