Though the White Sox performances were not overwhelming, both hitters got hits. José Rodríguez and Yoelqui Céspedes added to their hit totals, though both players have not done well so far in the AFL campaign.
Céspedes continues to be a starter, and had a 2-for-5 performance, both hits were singles. He would come along to score after one of those hits. For Rodríguez, he started at DH and went 1-for-5, also a single. However, he was a bit more productive, with two RBIs that helped the Desert Dogs in their 10-5 win. It was a two-out, RBI single that came in the seventh inning to solidify the win. (The seventh inning was one of the two four-run innings the Desert Dogs had.)
Unfortunately, no other Sox prospects played in this game, but it does certainly appear that Rodríguez and Céspedes are the two White Sox prospects who will get the most playing time.
