Gamethread: Atlanta at Houston (World Series Game 2)

It’s an early must-win for the Astros

There hasn’t been much action on these gamethreads, but hey, we’ll keep ’em coming.

The story of Game 1 certainly centered on Charlie Morton’s broken leg, which Atlanta withstood for a pretty easy win. Now, Atlanta and Houston (Lance McCullers Jr.) are both down core starters. A test of depth begins tonight.

Pitching-wise, it’s advantage, Atlanta, as ace Max Fried takes on José Urquidy.

Am I wrong in seeing Atlanta players doing a chop after big hits? Hope not.

Ballgame is 7:07 p.m. CT on Fox, ESPN has the radio call.
