White Sox Minor League Update: October 30, 2021

Just two South Siders in this one, but they played a big role in the Glendale win.

Halloween came one day early for McKinley Moore, who haunted Salt River with a K and a scoreless inning.

A win for the Glendale Desert Dogs, as the two White Sox prospects used today played well. Yolbert Sánchez was the lone White Sox hitter in the lineup, but he reacedh base three times, drove in a run, and scored. He had a couple of walks to go along with a single, but three times on base is certainly a great thing for Sánchez. He is not the main Sox prospect on the Desert Dogs, but he is doing pretty good whenever he steps in.

On the pitching side, it was just McKinley Moore. Moore threw a perfect eighth inning to keep the lead intact. He struck out one batter, as his command was not really an issue. He has struggled this AFL season, but hopefully today is the first step in a better direction.

Not a lot of the top prospects went today, but both Sánchez and Moore did well enough to they play a big part in the Glendale win.
