Quite a few White Sox players get action in Monday’s 8-5 Glendale Desert Dogs win.
Let’s start out with the bad — thankfully Johan Dominguez was really the only player to do poorly today. He only lasted two outs, and gave up four runs over that timespan. J. B. Olson took over for him and steadied the ship. He lasted 1 1⁄3 innings with no runs allowed, the first Glendale pitcher to do that in the game. And whatever J.B. left on the mound worked, too — nobody allowed a run after Olson, either.
Jose Rodriguez puts the Desert Dogs back in it with this two run single! The @whitesox number nine prospect according to @MLBPipeline later came around to score to tie the game at five. pic.twitter.com/uX7LKDVhSr

On offense, it was the usual characters, and they grabbed a hit and a stolen base each. José Rodríguez started at second base today and went 1-for-4 with a walk, so he reached base twice. On of those times he reached, he stole his second base of the AFL season. Unfortunately, he also committed his second error of the season.
Yoelqui Céspedes hit a double and proceeded to steal third right after that. He finished the day 1-for-3.
