The White Sox face off against the San Diego Fathers once again — this time, they will be playing at the Padres’ spring training ballpark in Peoria. Today’s game is particularly noteworthy as it’ll be the first opportunity for Carlos Rodón gets to stake his claim in the back-end of the rotation.
Of note for the lineup, Tony La Russa is getting some work in for a few guys, with Zack Collins at DH, Nick Williams in LF, Zach Remillard at 3B. Last but not least, Adam Eaton apparently ate his Wheaties this morning, as he’ll be hitting from the third spot.
