Happy Friday from Camelback, y’all. The winless (spring training) White Sox are facing off against the also-winless Mariners. One thing I personally missed in 2020 was seeing teams who weren’t the Royals and Cleveland Baseball Team. Sticking to your region kind of stinks.
There’s a joke floating around the interwebs that the White Sox can’t win with TLR. At least I think it’s a joke. Either way, I’d kindly remind you that it’s spring training for everyone, including a Hall-of-Famer Baseball Person who was out of the day-to-day grind for 10 years. But who’s counting?
The Mariners had their own share of drama in the offseason with team president/CEO Kevin Mather recently admitting to manipulating service time and subsequently being shown the door. This is the team of Ken Griffey Jr., though, so they’re going to bounce back just right.
Adam Eaton is still here, so I guess we still need to get used to that before April 1.
Today’s game isn’t being televised, but you can still catch it on a couple livestreams out there. Facebook for those in-market, and YouTube for everyone.
It's gameday, and you can live stream today's matchup wherever you are! Watch it live on https://t.co/7BJfvYnJPR, YouTube and Facebook (FB streaming in-market only), starting at 2 p.m. CT!
