Royals at White Sox: Postponed, Rain

The White Sox and Royals will play in a split doubleheader on May 14

MLB: Houston Astros at Chicago White Sox
Rain, Rain: Go away; come back some other day.

We were all looking forward to the first Saturday home game for the Chicago White Sox and riding the momentum from a complete game shutout against the Kansas City Royals, but today’s 1:10 p.m. CT game has been postponed to May 14.

The rescheduled game will be the first of a split doubleheader, with the opener at 1:00 p.m. and nightcap at 7:10 p.m. CT. Each game will be seven innings, and the roster will expand to include an additional player.

Anyone with tickets and/or parking passes for today’s affair will receive a credit to put toward a future Sox game, as tickets become available.

Here is the official word via the @WhiteSox twitter page:

Both games on May 14 will be broadcasted via NBC Sports Chicago, and ESPN Radio AM-1000 and WRTO-AM 1200/Univision Radio will have, well, they will have your radio coverage.
