Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged-in Chicago White Sox fans, and fans across the country.

According to the latest SB Nation Reacts survey, 94% of White Sox fans are confident the team is headed in the right direction. That’s down from 98% to start the season.

Still, a huge part of that confidence stems from the team’s ability to score. White Sox fans are mostly high on the Chicago offense.

According to fans around Major League Baseball, 28-year-old White Sox rookie Yermín Mercedes’ red-hot start at the plate is the most shocking outcome of the season’s first week.

Mercedes earned 42% of the vote, beating out the slow start by Atlanta (23%), the Baltimore Orioles’ hot start (18%) while Los Angeles Angels star Shohei Ohtani’s two-way success took 9%.
