Meet the Players: Melanie Blanton

New, 5 comments

Melanie Blanton became a White Sox fan just in time to witness the most futile decade in a century or so.

Is it any wonder she’s a licensed therapist in private practice, working with teens and young adults? Yes, our favorite ballclub has given her plenty of raw material, some of which is being channeled onto our pages, with Therapy Thursdays.

Melanie lives on the near west side, with a husband and a yorkiepoo. Please follow her on Twitter @LikeDemolition, and give her a warm welcome to South Side Sox!

White Sox fan since ~2008, started watching games regularly in 2011 (I was way too punk rock for organized sports as a teen ... ask me about my Black Flag and Henry Rollins tattoos)

First White Sox memory watching the 2005 World Series with my uncle

Favorite White Sox memory Being at Paulie’s last game on the first base side and watching him write his kids’ initials in the dirt

True or false: Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn’t thinking isn’t thinking of. True.
