A lifelong White Sox fan and Chicago sportswriter, Jason Kinander made his debut with us last week, discussing some trade options for the White Sox. Amazingly, he survived that experience in spite of suggesting that José Rodríguez be dealt away for Eduardo Escobar, causing his editor to break out in hives.
Expect similar thought pieces, including today’s stab at who the White Sox should make available in trades, in the future from Jason.
He has had previous writing experience with Da Windy City, and is currently studying at the University of Texas at Austin, which the lead photo should make plain. (Jason’s dad, a TCU graduate, makes getting another Longhorn on staff more palatable. Or, possible at all.) He also co-hosts The Sportscaster and Her Son podcast, with Peggy Kusinski.
Follow Jason’s musings on Twitter @JasonKinander, and please give him a warm South Side Sox welcome!
