Happy Sunday! Although the Chicago Bears are playing right now, we have some additional action to follow, as the Chicago White Sox (84-64) take on the Texas Rangers (55-93).
This will be the third and final game of the series, and so far each team has taken one game. We saw an offensive explosion from the Sox on Friday, followed by a little bit of a slump last night, but the team is hoping to turn it around to take the win and the series this afternoon.
Lucas Giolito will take the mound, as he looks to get his 10th win of the season. He has a 3.77 ERA, with a 1.11 WHIP. He is also approaching 200 strikeouts on the season, currently sitting at 188. His last outing against the Angels was successful, but short, as he went just four innings with three hits, three runs, and eight strikeouts. The key today will be to keep that pitch count down early, and go the distance.
Righty Ranger Jordan Lyles will start on the mound today, as he has a 9-11 record with a 5.20 ERA, and 1.40 WHIP. He had a stellar start his last time out against the Houston Astros, as he went seven innings with just three hits, no runs, and seven strikeouts. Lyles relies on five pitches, with his fastball being thrown 41.1% of the time. He also has a slider, curveball, sinker, and changeup.

Tim Anderson is back in the lineup and leading off, as Yoán Moncada and José Abreu follow. Yasmani Grandal will play first base after hitting the lone home run of the series so far last night, followed by Gavin Sheets, Leury García, and Romy González in the outfield. César Hernández and Zack Collins will finish it off.
La Russa on today's lineup: "We are getting Luis off his feet, so Robert is not playing center field. And had a long talk with Eloy. Sometimes you just have to give him a break. He’s not quite himself."
