Let’s get the important news out of the way:

The White Sox are rolling into Kansas City for a three game series this weekend. Will someone dive into the water feature in center field? Will Salvador Perez be angry if someone bat flips a home run? Time will tell, let’s go on this journey together.

Dallas Keuchel is on the mound tonight for the White Sox. He’s been struggling this season, there’s no other way to say it. Keuchel is 8-7 with a 5.00 ERA this season, posting a career high 47 walks. He’s 1-4 in his last seven starts with a 7.34 ERA, allowing nine home runs and walking 14 while giving up 39 hits and 28 earned runs.

Carlos Hernández is pitching for the Royals. He’s 4-1 this season with a 3.62 ERA. In his last seven starts he’s 3-1 with a 3.38 ERA. Hernández has faced the White Sox twice, both times during 2021 and is 2-0 in those starts.
