Happy Sunday, it’s a beautiful day to win a ballgame, and a series. The Chicago White Sox (79-57) will play their final game of 2021 against the Kansas City Royals (60-75) at Kauffman Stadium.
Dylan Cease has shown just what he is capable of each and every start, and only seems to be improving as the season goes on.

As you can see, Cease and his 188 strikeouts top the leaderboard when it comes to players younger than 25. His stuff has been insane all year, but his main focus has to be working on his control, as well as not getting too high in the pitch count early on, which he has improved on recently. Cease currently holds an 11-6 record, with a 3.82 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. In his last outing against his old team, the Chicago Cubs, he went six innings while only allowing four hits, one run, and recorded 11 strikeouts.
The Royals will trot out Brady Singer, who has some great skill despite what the record shows, at 3-9 with a 4.87 ERA and 1.60 WHIP. His last outing against the Seattle Mariners was solid, as he went six innings with just three hits, one run, and five strikeouts. He relies on four pitches: sinker, slider, changeup, and fastball.
Dylan Cease is 3-1 with a 2.68 ERA (13 ER/43.2), 43 strikeouts and a .203 (32-158) opponents average in eight career starts vs. Kansas City.

Robert said he feels somewhat limited at times with his abilities after the injury. "There are days I don't feel that good or that sure." Those days, he just prepares to slow down a little bit. So, he's playing like he has been as somewhat limited.

Luis Robert is going through one of the hottest stretches of his young career, and he’s doing it even though he admits he is limited at times in his return from a hip injury. He continues to be extremely impressive, and the league should watch out if the way he’s playing right now isn’t his 100%. Robert will lead it off today and play center.
Yoán Moncada is back in the lineup and at third base, as he looks to continue his hit streak. José Abreu will be the DH today, followed by Eloy Jiménez back in left field. Brian Goodwin is in right field and Leury García is at second base. Gavin “Silk” Sheets will be the first baseman today, followed by Danny Mendick and Seby Zavala.
Here's how we'll take the field behind Brady Singer for the deciding game of our series vs. the White Sox.#TogetherRoyal pic.twitter.com/lA9ZKECs4d
