Inspired by some of the recent ALL CAPS arguments around rosters and who should go and who should stay and whom is taking ABs from whom.
The White Sox are giving away "Stretch Sale" action figures to the first 10,000 fans on Saturday, Oct. 3 against Detroit at 6:10 p.m. The shape of the packaging doesn't accommodate the Condor, but I imagine you can shape the arms to make it work.
He's borrowing Emilio Bonifacio's position and Chris Sale's weight.
Somewhat amazingly, the White Sox haven't been more than 2 games over or 3 games under .500 all season. They've been at .500 19 different times. This confirms what this season has felt like—a back-and-forth of unders and overs, with no real sustained winning or losing streaks. As a result, the Sox have hung with the big boys so far, and a solid month could put them in a decent position to chase a Wild Card. Of course, they could also keep dancing around .500 for the rest of the season, or even fall off, as so many have predicted.
Prince Fielder's grounder against the shift forced Leury Garcia to turn a double play on a feed from third. But that was the second-strangest thing about the double play.
Hat free to a good home. Send me an e-mail if you want it (e-mail's in my profile). I'm willing to mail it anywhere.
I finally dumped this from my phone, I suppose it's proof I accidentally came to the meetup. Apologies for crappy cellphone shot, etc...
I get it, we have a lot of Rookies in the bullpen part 2
