• Dewayne Wise went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
• Carlos Sanchez singled twice and struck out twice.
• Jordan Danks went 1-for-3 with a triple and a walk.
• Andy Wilkins, 1-for-4 with a strikeout.
  
• Andre Rienzo has figured out this efficiency thing: 9 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K
  

Mississippi 5, Birmingham 4

• Perfect day at the plate for Marcus Semien: Two singles, three walks and his 16th stolen base.
• An 0-for-4 game extends Trayce Thompson's slump to 0-for-25, or 1-for-32.
• Jared Mitchell went 0-for-2 with two walks.
• Spencer Arroyo: 7 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 1 HR

Myrtle Beach 4, Winston-Salem 2 (Game 1, 7 innings)

• Courtney Hawkins went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts, his first multi-K game since June 24.
• Joey DeMichele went 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout. He also stole his 14th base.
  
• Micah Johnson, 1-for-3 with a triple and a steal.
• Kevan Smith went 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
• Rangel Ravelo, 0-for-3 with a K.

Myrtle Beach 6, Winston-Salem 5 (Game 2, 8 innings)

• Nice rebound for Courtney Hawkins: 2-for-4 with his 15th homer and a triple. He struck out once.
• Micah Johnson went 1-for-4, as did Joey DeMichele (one K).
• Rangel Ravelo went 2-for-3 with his second homer. He also drew a walk.

Hickory 7, Kannapolis 6 (10 innings)

• Tim Anderson went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts and his 10th error.
• Jacob May went 1-for-5 with his first pro homer. He struck out once.
• Jason Coats, also in the 1-for-5 club.
• Keon Barnum's best day of the season: 3-for-4 with a homer, double and a walk. He's homered in three of his last four games.
• Nick Basto went 1-for-3 with a walk.

Danville 6, Bristol 3

• Trey Michalczewski went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
• Carl Thomore, 1-for-2 with two walks. He was picked off/caught stealing.

• Johan Cruz singled twice, struck out twice and stole two bases. He was picked off/caught stealing for fair measure.
• Roger Ramos walked once and struck out thrice.
• Hanleth Otano doubled and struck out three times. They struck out 18 times overall.
