The last full week of the minor-league regular season starts with the White Sox affiliates going 6-0.

Charlotte 3, Syracuse 1

  • Marcus Semien grounded out three times and struck out once.
  • Blake Tekotte went 2-for-4 with a strikeout and was picked off/caught stealing.
  • Brent Morel went 1-for-3 with a walk.
  • Daniel Webb pitched a 1-2-3 inning, striking out one.

Birmingham 2, Pensacola 0

  • Trayce Thompson went 1-for-5 with a double and a strikeout.
  • Brandon Jacobs went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts, as did Mike Blanke.
  • Keenyn Walker went 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
  • Chris Beck picked up his first Double-A victory: 8 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 8 K, 1 HBP, only 94 pitches.

Winston-Salem 7, Myrtle Beach 3

  • Courtney Hawkins went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts and an HBP.
  • Joey DeMichele also went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts, but he added a sac fly and a stolen base.
  • Kevan Smith went 1-for-3 with a walk.
  • Jake Cose: 6 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 4 K, 1 HR
  • Brad Goldberg recorded a three-inning save in his Dash debut: 3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K

Kannapolis 9, Rome 0

  • Tim Anderson went 1-for-3 with two walks, a strikeout and his 23rd stolen base.
  • Jacob May went 3-for-4 with a walk and two stolen bases.
  • Jason Coats went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts.
  • Keon Barnum, also 1-for-5 with a double and a strikeout.
  • Nick Basto went 0-for-3 with a strikeout and a sac fly.
  • Cleuluis Rondon, 1-for-3 with a walk.
  • Euclides Leyer recorded a four-inning save: 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K

Bristol 6, Burlington 5

  • Trey Michalczewski went 0-for-3 with two walks and a strikeout. One of the walks was a shrimp.
  • Sammy Ayala went 1-for-3 with his first homer, sac bunt and a strikeout.
  • Carl Thomore tripled and walked over four PA. He also stole a base.
  • Victor Velasquez went 0-for-3 with two walks.

Great Falls 12, Idaho Falls 5

  • Adam Engel went 2-for-4 with two walks and three stolen bases.
  • Danny Hayes, 3-for-5.
