This White Sox Minor League Update catches the full-season affiliates at bad times.
*The Charlotte Knights have lost four in a row, including a sweep by the Pawtucket Red Sox at home.
*The Birmingham Barons are off to a 1-7 start in August, but at 23-26, they're only 1½ games out of first place in the Southern League North's second-half standings.
*The Winston-Salem Dash went winless on a six-game road trip, while the Myrtle Beach Pelicans have won seven in a row. The Dash went from leading the Carolina League Southern second-half standings by one game to trailing by five as quickly as possible.
*The Kannapolis Intimidators have also lost six in a row, pushing them out of second-half contention.
*The Great Falls Voyagers have lost four in a row, but they're already in the postseason after winning the first half.
*That leaves the AZL White Sox, winners of four straight, as the only stateside affiliate going strong.
Sunday's box scores will appear in the comments shortly.
