A few notes from this weekend:
*Good friend of the podcast Seth Lakso worked his last day for the Charlotte Observer on Sunday.
Today is my last day working for @theobserver. Want to thank the paper, @KnightsBaseball and @CheckersHockey for two awesome years #honored

It was great having an honest-to-goodness beat reporter for a minor league team, especially one from whom the Sox called up plenty of players over his time. So it's our loss, but best of luck to him regardless.
*The White Sox outrighted the 40-man roster's mystery man, Raul Fernandez, to Birmingham. There's now an open spot, and it's possible that it might be needed for Javy Guerra, who went on Charlotte's DL after the White Sox outrighted him. If the injury occurred while he was on the 40-man roster, he can't be booted off it.
*Tim Anderson has drawn two walks over 165 plate appearances at Double-A, which seems impossible. Yet he's hitting .302 with a .415 slugging percentage, so the hit tool is there. It just seems really hard to walk only twice over 165 plate appearances against minor league pitching.
Sunday's box scores will appear in the comment shortly.
