I don't know if you've sensed this, but it appears that a lot of White Sox fans don't care to see much more of John Danks. Alas, he'll continue to occupy a spot until somebody poses a challenge in the minor leagues. One turn through the rotation of possibilities, a contender has not emerged.
Erik Johnson: 5 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, 2 WP. At least he threw strikes (53 of 76 pitches).
Carson Fulmer: 2.2 IP, 1 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 4 BB, 0 K, 1 HR. He fell apart in the third inning, as that's when he issued all four of hits walks. His night ended with a grand slam.
Jacob Turner: 4 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 6 K, 1 HR. He only threw 65 pitches, but then again, he topped out at three innings during springr training, so stamina may still be an issue.
Chris Beck: 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 7 K. Not a bad start as he gets back into game shape, but he threw just 49 of 84 pitches for strikes.
Sunday's box scores will appear in the comments shortly.
