Kannapolis victory leaves Winston-Salem as the only winless affiliate

Bad news: Charlotte is undefeated no more.

Good news: Kannapolis is winless no more.

The Intimidators won their first game of the season on the strength of Yosmer Solorzano’s start, leaving Winston-Salem as the lone Sox affiliate without a victory thus far.

  • Adam Engel keeps working deep counts, but with nothing to show for it: 0-for-5 with three strikeouts.

  • Nicky Delmonico wore the collar.
  • Willy Garcia went 1-for-3 with a walk.
