Carson Fulmer strong in Charlotte win; lights go out on Kannapolis

Carson Fulmer
Jim Margalus / South Side Sox

Kannapolis had beaten the Augusta in all five matchups this year, but the Greenjackets found a way to slow the Intimidators down:

Lose power.

It couldn’t be restored after an official delay of 1 hour and 32 minutes, so the game was called. The Intimidators had to head to Rome, Ga., to start a series, so it won’t be made up. The funny thing is Augusta led 1-0 at the time.
