  • Thought to be making a spot start in Chicago on Monday, instead Reynaldo Lopez has his worst start of the season: 4 IP, 8 H, 8 ER, 3 BB, 4 K, 1 HR on 76 pitches (45 were strikes).

  • Jacob May homered, singled, struck out, was plunked and stole a base.
  • Nicky Delmonico was 1-for-4 with a double.
  • Danny Hayes, 2-for-4 with a strikeout.
  • Adam Engel, 1-for-3 with a double and a strikeout.
  • Rymer Liriano was 0-for-3.

Mobile 2, Birmingham 1

  • Eddy Alvarez was 1-for-4 with a strikeout.
  • Cameron Seitzer was 1-for-4 scoring the lone run and hit a double.
  • Jordan Guerrero: 6 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 9 K on 91 pitches (56 were strikes). He now leads the Southern League in strikeouts.

Down East 8, Winston-Salem 1

  • Zack Collins went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. In his last 10 games, Collins is 6-for-31 with two homers, nine walks and 12 strikeouts.
  • Luis Alexander Basabe was 0-for-4, and in his last 10 games is 8-for-42 with 12 strikeouts and just one walk.
  • Trey Michalczewski hit a home run in the ninth inning.
  • The Dash are now 14-35 on the season.

Kannapolis 11, Greensboro 4

  • Joel Booker went 3-for-5 with a homer, and two strikeouts.
  • Jameson Fisher, 3-for-5 with a homer, three RBI and a double. In his last 10 games, Fisher is 16-for-37 a home run, two walks and 10 strikeouts.
  • The Intimdators had five home runs for the evening with Mitch Roman, Brandon Dulin, and Seby Zavala getting in the action.
  • Jimmy Lambert: 5.2 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K on 100 pitches (71 were strikes).
  • The Intimidators are 25-21, 2.5 GB of Hagerstown Suns (Nationals affiliate) for first place.
