Three affiliates hit their All-Star breaks

The Great Falls Voyagers opened their season on Monday -- and here’s the roster preview to prove it — but the minor league update will take its time lengthening since three White Sox affiliates have hit their respective All-Star breaks.

The farm system’s All-Stars?

  • Southern League: Michael Kopech and Jordan Guerrero
  • Carolina League: Zack Collins, Louis Silverio, Danny Mendick and Tanner Banks
  • South Atlantic League: Alec Hansen, Jimmy Lambert, Mike Morrison, Kyle Kubat, Joel Booker, Seby Zavala and Mitch Roman.

As for the affiliates in action...

Charlotte 10, Gwinnett 5

  • Yoan Moncada was 1-for-5 with a walk and a strikeout.k
  • Jacob May, 2-for-5 with two strikeouts.
  • Danny Hayes was 1-for-4 with a walk.
  • Rymer Liriano is picking it up: 3-for-5 with a double and a strikeout.
  • Tyler Danish’s line isn’t for the seasick: 5 IP, 2 H, 5 R, 2 ER, 6 BB, 1 K

Great Falls 5, Helena 1 (11 innings)

  • Luis Curbelo went 3-for-4 with a double, and he was plunked twice.
  • Luis Gonzalez, 1-for-5 with a double and two strikeouts.
  • Franklin Reyes was 1-for-5 with a double.
  • Craig Dedelow, 2-for-4 with a double and an HBP, but was caught stealing.
  • Hanleth Otano went 0-for-5.
  • Chris Comito: 5 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 K
  • Tyler Johnson: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K, HBP

DSL Mariners 6, DSL White Sox 0

  • Luis Robert was 0-for-3 with a walk, two strikeouts and a stolen base.
  • Luis Mieses went 1-for-4 with a double.
  • Harvin Mendoza went 0-for-4 with a K.
  • Kleyder Sanchez, 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.
  • Anderson Comas went 0-for-3.
  • Brayant Nova, 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
