White Sox Minor League Update: Aug. 10, 2017

Every active affiliate won, which is a rarity

Jim Margalus / South Side Sox

It doesn’t happen very often, but the White Sox affiliates went 6-0 on Thursday. An idle Great Falls kept it from being a perfect perfect day, but the Sox will take what they can get, given they have the worst organizational win percentage in all of baseball. Here’s an updated chart:

On one hand, it’s a little confusing that the team with a top-two farm system is dead last in minor league wins, especially when the Yankees, who were similarly stacked, are leading all of baseball. Then you look at the team the White Sox are trying to catch to climb out of the cellar, and realize it’s probably not worth parsing too much at this stage.
