The hottest team in the Carolina League is Winston-Salem as they have now won five games in a row in large thanks to Eloy Jimenez. Now hitting .352/.418/.690 in 20 games with the Dash, Jimenez busted the game open last night with his fifth home run since joining Winston-Salem.

Jimenez probably should be in Birmingham but it’s very enjoyable to watch him dominate Advanced A pitching. The Dash are now 21-20 (they were 24-46 in the first half) and six games back of the Buies Creek Astros.
