The Kannapolis Intimidiators came up two games short in their quest to win their first South Atlantic League Championship Series since 2005.
While they were able to come back from a three-run Greenville first to tie the game at 3 in the fourth, they had no answer for a five-run sixth. Hence, the Drive won the Sally League title with an 8-3 victory on Friday.

The loss leaves Great Falls as the last White Sox affiliate standing. The Voyagers need to win both of their remaining games to capture the Pioneer League.
